Abstract


Conventional Bank and Islamic bank basically have different paradigm in collecting commercial fund from public. A Conventional bank is collecting commercial fund and lending to debtor with interest fee system, whilst lslamic bank is collecting public fund and lending to debtor with profit and loss sharing schemes. On the other hand, the objective of community to save in a conventional bank is to keep their money secure from unexpectation matter. On the other hand, the objective of community to invest their money in a Islamic bank is to fund such investments. If there is revenue it will share to community based on sharing scheme agreement if there is loss it will bear the loss together with the investor. The willingness of community to save their money in a bank is based on the trust. If the community loses its trust it will be happen a rush and will cause another bank to crash. Central Bank of Indonesia to refer on Act No. 23 year 1999 has functioned as regulator, auditor and establishment of bank. The objective is to define some signs to govern good banking activities, including in Islamic banking. A good and efficient banking institution will grow in the niddle of global competition.
